- Forms: Name, email, phone, campus, role, and messages you submit (mentor/mentee applications, volunteer interest, partnership inquiries, newsletter).
- Technical data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
- Donations: Processed by PayPal Giving Fund; we do not store payment card numbers on this site.
How we use information
- Review applications and respond to inquiries.
- Send program updates you opt into (newsletter).
- Improve site security and reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the site (e.g., email delivery, hosting, database storage for applications) and when required by law.
Retention
Application records are kept for program administration and alumni relations. You may request deletion of non-essential contact data by emailing info@thesummitfoundations.org.
Security
We use HTTPS and industry-standard hosting. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children
Our college mentoring programs are intended for university-age participants. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted data in error.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top will change. Material updates will be noted on this page.
